John Dunphy, MD is a retired physician. He obtained his BS from UC Berkeley in 1972, and in 1976 his medical degree from UC San Francisco. His residency was also at UCSF. He moved to Eugene in 1980 and was a partner at the then Eugene Hospital and Clinic and subsequently worked at PeaceHealth Medical group as a pediatrician until his retirement in 2020. John served on the Serenity Lane board for 25 years and had the privilege of being board chair from 2013 until 2021. John brings his experience as a pediatrician of 40 years and 33 years of recovery to the board.
