Marianne is the co-founder of the Friends of Lane County Recovery Schools.

She received a Masters Degree in Juvenile Counseling from the University of Oregon and worked for Lane County Juvenile Court as a counselor and Criminal Justice Planner at Lane Council of Governments. Marianne also received a Masters Degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Oregon and has worked in Human Resources at various organizations including health care and government. Being in long-term recovery, she enjoys service work assisting others in their path to recovery.
